FairwayLink Terms & Conditions

Draft · Last updated: 26 June 2026

These terms govern your use of FairwayLink, the golfer's app from Fairway Dynamics that lets you report things you spot on the course to your golf club and get a reply. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use FairwayLink.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, creating an account in, or using FairwayLink, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. Together they form the agreement between you and us.

2. Eligibility

FairwayLink is intended for adults (18 or over). You must be able to enter into a binding agreement to use the app. The app is not directed at children.

3. Your account and identity

You provide a name and phone number (and optionally an email or a passkey / sign-in with Apple or Google) to create your account. Your FairwayLink account is your identity across the clubs you belong to. Keep your sign-in method secure, give accurate details, and let us know if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

When you use FairwayLink, you agree not to:

We may suspend or remove access, and remove content, if you breach these rules.

5. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the reports, tips, messages, and photos you submit. By submitting them, you give us a licence to host, process, and route that content to the club you sent it to, and to operate and improve the service. You confirm you have the right to share what you submit. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

6. Your relationship with the club

FairwayLink connects you with your golf club, but your golf club is an independent organisation, not us. We deliver your report to the club and route the club's reply back to you. We don't control whether or how a club responds, acts on a report, or runs its course. Any matter that is between you and your club — membership, a response, or how the course is managed — is the club's responsibility, not ours.

7. Availability and no warranty

We work to keep FairwayLink available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a report will reach or be acted on by the club within any particular time. Features may change, be added, or be removed.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a club's decisions, responses, or failure to act on a report.

9. Termination

You can stop using FairwayLink and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons. Some provisions (such as content licences for things already submitted, and limitation of liability) survive termination.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll show the updated date at the top and tell you about material changes through the app. Continuing to use FairwayLink after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where your local consumer-protection law gives you rights that cannot be overridden.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: [email protected]. (Placeholder contact — TODO: confirm the final legal entity and monitored support mailbox before launch.)
